Well...looks like I'm moving from Ontario to Calgary, Alberta. After my recent trip to the US, I realize I probably have to tell you guys that they are both in Canada.

Now I have some difficult decisions to make. Do I just ship my computer out and fly out? Do I pack a bunch of stuff and drive out? Do I sell my car and motorcycle? Do I take them both with me? Arghh....I hate making decisions like this. This is the first time I've moved when I've had any significant assets.

Just venting....no need to reply...

Devin,

The obvious decision is to sell what you own now, and buy brand new whatever you sold in Ontario in Alberta. Easy as cake.

Calgary is a city of extremes, and temperatures have ranged anywhere from a record low of -45 °C (-49 °F) in 1893 to a record high of +36 °C (96.8 °F) in 1919. Temperatures fall below -30 °C (-22 °F) on about five days per year, though extreme cold spells usually do not last very long. According to Environment Canada, the average temperature in Calgary ranges from a January daily average of -9 °C (15.8 °F) to a July daily average of +16 °C (60.8 °F).

I'd sell the bike.

i'm currently shivering through today's forecast maximum of 13 degrees celsius in the middle of winter, and you're moving somewhere where that is a forecast median summer maximum?

you are clearly crazy.

Ummm, there summer's aren't much different than where I am now. Climate isn't the issue with the bike.

Actually, you don't want it to be super hot all the time. When I was in Vegas, I realized that it would be very uncomfortable to ride a bike there this time of year.
