In omaha you get four cards, and you MUST use two of them to make your strongest possible hand. So, here he hit quad 8's on the river,. ... btw I just realized now he had a flush draw also so I was only 80% to win here, not really a bad beat. Thought he one outed me.

I hadn't even noticed the river to see the 4-of-a-kind...sorry.

Don't think I'm anywhere close to ready to be thinking about learning another game as I'm still trying to figure out NL. Eventually though it would probably be interesting. I hear a fair amount about PLO. Thanks for explaining!

My Rolf Slotbooms PLO book is being shipped; should be here in a week I hope.

Then I will try this PLO thing; I'm crushing the play money PLO games but that is not saying much lol.

If you weren't crushing the play money tables we might have to check your pulse.

[/ QUOTE ]lol, well, that is taken care of, I have had my pulse measured, my EKG done, my stress EKG done and my echocardiogram done all within the last 2 wks.

My T-wave is still missing, but none of the other tests found much wrong (even all the valves are OK), so I'm back to mostly normal.

Nah, anytime you get it in in Omaha better than a 52% favorite its a major accomplishment. This is a bad beat. Or, yeah, at least a lol omahahahamaments.

I think your river raise sucks balls in hand1, are you putting him no JJ or QQ, he's not folding an ace or better

hand2 you should be getting everything in on the river

bottomset, getting it in in the second hand is really dab IMO

Good news Juu.

My rant. I played over 4k hands (I only play 4-5 tables) in a 28 hour stretch beginning 2 nights ago through last night and was down 2 buyins and tilting really freaking hard the last couple hundred hands of a 12 hour session with only a break for dinner and 1/2 hour of reading 2p2. It was so frustrating. I really hate poker. I was card dead in terms of making big hands although I had my fair share of big pairs. I flopped 3 sets on monotne boards, one losing to a straight, another to a flush on the turn after getting it in on the flop and AAA taking it down with a cbet. I would have been worse off had some uberfish (like 80/45/3) not had over 4.5 buyins at a table I sat down on at 6max (I played that to keep me fresh). Although I never got a hand to double through him he kept telling me how easy I was to beat and I challenged him to a hu match which he accepted. I won that then won a rematch that he requested and got 2 buyins back or I;d have been down 4 buyins on the day. I wish Lee would boomswitch me before he leaves.
