This team is so close to putting me on life tilt.

Haha. I know exactly what you mean. I'm going on vacation on Wednesday. Originally this vacation was supposed to be a break from work, now I'm looking at it more as a break from the Mets. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

..It really would be nice if Beltran could at the very least not look completely lost at the plate. Hitting like [censored] is one thing, but the way he is swinging that bat around I think he might not even be able to hit a baseball off a T.

Edit: Another home run. GG.

I dislike the Mets, but as a Phillies fan I feel your pain. At least the Braves lost and the Phils pen decided to [censored] away a decent outing by Eaton

haha at all the mets fans on tilt.

One retarded Mets fan does not equal all Mets fans.

Yes. The fact that I think Tom Glavine has been an absolute bust makes me retarted. It's not like he has came here and been a .500 pitcher with an ERA closer to 4 than 3. Its not like he has faded EVERY year he has been here. It's not like he's been given special treatment by the manager and allowed to stay in games just so he can get a stupid win. It's not like he is a union rat are let his wife go for a trophy wife. It's not like he pitched for a rival for SIXTEEN years and embarasses this team while he was there. GIVE ME BREAK. Any Mets fan who supports Glavine is a [censored] moron. When he starts games I root for the Mets to win and him to not get the win. I mean it's not liek I root for them to fall behind when he's out there, I just start each game knowing that that is the outcome I want the most. I'd love to see him somehow not win 300. He can blame all those games lost in 94/95.

[/ QUOTE ]

No, the fact that you spelt retarded with a second 't' is what makes us think you're retarded.

I guess I picked the right time to be out of civilization for a week on vacation with no access to radio, internet, phone, etc...

Still in first place though. I still don't see a team that will win the division over us.

I know the Mets will start winning because I wrote this but I can't believe you have that much confidence in your team when there are 2 teams that are only fractions of a game behind.

Why?

There's nothing to indicate that the 2 teams behind them are any better and capable of taking the division. Heck, we've had as bad a run as a team can have and still have a 3 game cushion in the loss column. When the run started, the lead was about 5. Not much has been lost.
