nath,

MTV missed most of the good 80's stuff like Minutemen, XTC, Husker Du and Bauhaus. Instead they played Thomas Dolby, The Cars and Cyndi Lauper.

UKers, are iPhones easy to get in the shops right now, or are they pretty limited? Do you think they'd have them in less built up areas like Derbyshire?

Yeah, I've had to go back and recatalogue the good 80s rock and roll (The Replacements are my favorite band from the era). But when I was a kid, I was pretty sure Appetite for Destruction was the greatest achievement in human history. (I also remember liking INXS.)

Have you lisetened to any of his newer stuff? Worth it? I've been into him for ages haven't really got past his more classic works.

Check out If you see her say hello, sara, shelter from the storm and It's alright Ma, I'm only bleeding (Thank-you Sopranos final episode for putting me onto this) - all abolsutely classic songs.

Oh and One More Cup of Coffe, I love it, but a lot of people, even Dylan fans hate it.
