Re: ***Official SNF PHI/NE thread***
I lol'd when Skip Bayless said that Feeley should start the rest of the season based on his performance against the Patriots. Yup, a journeyman nobody backup has one big game when McNabb and all of a sudden he's the greatest.
Gosh, I don't know why I watch the show. I just do. |

[/ QUOTE ] Feeley was good last time he took over for McNabb. Maybe QBs like Feeley and Garcia can play in the WCO that the Eagles run. Honestly, McNabb hasn't been very good this year and at times he's been bad. Feeley didn't play well in Miami, this isn't a suprise. They ran a different system than the Eagles run. You don't have to be that great to play in the WCO, just look at Garcia with the 9ers, Eagles last year and the Bucs this year, compare him to his time in Cleveland and Detroit which don't run the WCO. He was pretty damn good when he can be in the WCO and is bad to horrible when he is forced into another system. The fact is right now McNabb isn't that good. Watch the games the last season to get evidence of this. Feeley might not be Brady, but he would probally perform better the rest of the season than a hurt McNabb. |

Re: ***Official SNF PHI/NE thread***
I am re watching this game and it is interesting to see the Philly tight end make an obvious pushoff before a crucial 3rd down completion. There was no call. This drive led to a TD
then Moss doesn't push off and gets called for it, screwing the pats out of 7 points. What an interesting 14 point swing, courtesy of the NFL officials |

Re: ***Official SNF PHI/NE thread***
i also just watched a play where Randy Moss runs a slant, LIto Sheppard pulls his jersey off on of his shoulders, even exposing his shoulder pads on his right shoulder (2nd QTR 00:15) and there is no call.
Lito sheppard's holding obviously led to an incomplete pass to Randy Moss Very interesting indeed. |

Re: ***Official SNF PHI/NE thread***
oh yah, not to mention the field goal that was actually good, but the refs said Gost missed it
so far that's a 17 point swing courtesy of the nfl refs |

Re: ***Official SNF PHI/NE thread***
the fact of the matter is, the patriots should not have to compete against teams AND biased officials week in and week out.
No wonder they blow out teams when they can and don't let up. They want to completely eliminate the ability of the refs to screw them out of the game. it's a smart move, if i was BB i'd do the same. |
