I am in Paris this week for work. I read the boxscore only for game 1 vs the Cards yesterday, and not until this morning did I read full write ups for these first two nail biters. Unreal almost blowing a 11-0 lead and then having that stiff Barabbas (my grandfather's biblical nickname for Barajas) deliver.
Then I got caught up on this thread. Very entertaining commentary, A++, totally worth suffering on a blackberry to read it here on the train. In particular, Najdorfla comments on "what is Romero in a jail in Venezuela" and "Belleard beat the Mets, isn't he dead? " had me chuckle aloud. I'm with dlk9s, forget the Padres, catch the Mets!
