Thanks for response Fletcher. Do people find it useful to take laptop to lectures? Wouldnt really need laptop at home, so desktop could be an idea.

Cardiff uni network was wierd. You could play poker, access porn etc etc but couldn't play online games for some reason. Think it might be something to do with it using the same port as p2p programmes.

2 of my best friends from Osaka graduated from there. Both were in Japan as English teachers.

Yup. Did Architecture for a few months at the end of last year. The course wasn't for me so I dropped out, will probably be back at Cardiff in a years time. Awesome university and great town.

if you take a laptop to lectures, your gonna get board and open up some tables and wont learn a thing, well, you might learn that its not best to shout ship-it when a 400bb pot gets sent your way.
