What sort of swings are you guys seeing in the Stars 50NL game? I've been about breakeven all week until tonight I was up 9.5 buyins and then down 9 buyins for a 2nd session later on.

First 40k hands. Started at 2NL, I am now at 50NL and took shots as high as 200NL.
I hate break-even stretches for 11k and 8k hands in a 40k hand sample:  Im also up around 330 in sng's and 200 in donkaments, also have 100 tournament money. But finally over 3k in cash, which is alot of money for me [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] |

My lifetime graph looks a bit like yours VPIP :
 Note the 35K breakeven because of huge tilt at 50NL without playing 25NL, and I thought bankroll was all I needed to play a certain level. Since then I have not titled once, as soon as I see sign of tilts, I fight it back. Im pretty sure the steady curve is more a progression in table selection/tilt control than skill On another note, like Gelford said in his video about PP and 3-bet, Im beginning to feel the same about folding PP to a 3-bet at 100NL, thats its not really +EV to call a 3-bet except from maybe a known light 3-bettor. I began to do that at 50NL and now doing it at 100NL and I feel way better about not calling 3-bet/folding flop...so weak... |
