I hate Damon Jones as well. He basically owes his whole paycheck to Lebron.

Lol wtf is going on in Miami?

Needless to say, the Heat were undermanned tonight for their game against the Clips...

I just want to take this space to point out that if the Atlantic Division-leading Nets were in the WC they would be:

- nine games back of Utah in the NW division
- ten games back of PHX and 1 1/2 games behind the Clippers and in LAST PLACE in the Pacific division
- 11 1/2 games behind Dallas and barely ahead of the horrendous Hornets in the SW division

I really don't have a Master's thesis on all of this, other than the East sucks, particularly that division.

btw its somewhat likely that Washington gets the #2 seed this year and that the #4 and #5 seeds go to Chicago/Cleveland. That would mean that the Wizards wouldn't face Detroit, Chicago, or Cleveland until at least the ECF, and unless Miami gets healthy and back to normal I'd have to say that the Wizards are sizeable favorites over any other team in the East. I should stop- I'm getting too excited way too early.

Teams in the East that scare me in the playoffs if I'm the Wizards: Detroit, Orlando.

I just really hope Bulls fans are enjoying this nice regular season run they are having!

I think the Clips should just win 70 in a row, seems like the best plan.

Ugh - we look like ass. So of course, in grand Clipper tradition, on the heels of a 4-game losing streak we announce Dunleavy Gets 4-Year Extension For Reported $21M

What do you guys think of Dunleavy? He was, before taking over for Clips, most notable in my mind for the coaching the biggest choke job in NBA playoff history (2000 WCF Game 7 against the Lakers).

He's a very fine defensive mind, but can't coach offense for [censored] imo.

[/ QUOTE ]

Dunleavy is a capable coach and he has experience deep into the playoffs with the Lakers and Blazers. That being said, with the amount of money Sterling has forked over in recent years, and the level of talent on the team, the Clips should be title contenders. That certainly doesn't look to be the case so far this year. Swap coaches with the other LA team and the Clippers win a title within 2 years.

[/ QUOTE ]

i would have to agree with phil he can make any team good.
And for the clips winning 70 haha yeah right

As a Raps fan, tonight's game - more specifically Martin's last second FGA - made me sick. Just sick.

Swirsky said they had 1 20 sec TO left, why didn't they call it? or was Swirsky mistaken?

edit: Also, Nash for 3peat.

This excludes the fact that these horrible, horrible teams have more favorable Eastern Conference heavy schedules!

Ship the Clippers to the East now k thx.
