Re: *official 2007 red sox thread*
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] okajima looks tired... bringing him in to start the 8th last night up five runs doesn't look so great now, huh? i didn't see the game last night, just checked the box score. wtf is up with that. [/ QUOTE ] He hadn't pitched in a few days. Tito likes to stomp on the opposition and put in his better relievers when they're up, no matter by how much. Speaking of Okajima, I liked how Barry Bonds took three straight strikes to strike out with the tying run in scoring position. Okajima'd. [/ QUOTE ] I wonder how many times that has ever happened to Barry. It has to be at an astronoically low rate. |

Is this Dave Roberts from Game 4 of the 2004 ALCS? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, yes it is. I only wish I could find a video with better resolution, this will definitely suffice though. |

I think the ump had some bad strike calls today. He did look fooled on that second strike fastball, though. |

Just on a side note, Rivera's number of ER each of the last few years.
14, 13, 17, 12, 15, 13 The difference? The last number is this year. Over 26 innings. |

Re: *official 2007 red sox thread*

Re: *official 2007 red sox thread*
there's some sacramento conspiracy to show as few sox games as possible. When they play Oakland, they have a Giants game on. When they play an afternoon game in Boston vs the Giants, they show no baseball at all. wtf.

'aw we scored seven runs through 3, now let's just hack at everything this guy throws rather than keep doing what's been working'
