Please let me know how it goes at Ocean View...I'm moving to Santa Cruz on the first week of September and I'm interested how the local action is.

I'm heading to LC tomorrow afternoon - evening to check the place out. I'm interested in trip reports from you guys. I'll let you know how it goes... I'm not expecting too much.

Oh baby the must move game was awesome. Too bad I only got to play in it for like 2 hrs. The main game got better and better as players left and got replaced. A big rich fish with diamond rings and a gold necklace was in for an easy 20k, I only got one hand with him though. I only played a hand full of hands for the entire trip but I only needed two, a set of jacks and a flopped flush, yea that'll do it.

I am, in fact, going to school out there (grad school). And if you could get me into a game, that would be fantastic. What kind of games are these?

Bump the roof. I saw Garland the other day at Lucky Chances any, has one else been going there recently? Their 2/3/5 NL game has been getting very popular. You can even call ahead of time to put your name up on the board now.

Hey dudes, glad to join the no-cal scene after slumming it down in Hawaain Gardens outside of LBC.

I'm currently building a bankroll with 3/6 but want to get to 6/12-8/16 ASAP but I won't ahve to worry about finding higher games for a while.

Just played at Casino San Pablo and it was the best conditions I've ever seen, simply amazing. But I keep hearing that LC and Bay101 might be even better. Is it worth the trip if I'm living in Berkeley?

Also, is Oak's worth going to or should I just stick to the newer CSP? At least it has parking and oak's looks like a shithole.
