Re: A visual representation of FGators dollars (serious theory post)
[ QUOTE ]
Talk to ISMAKIDD or stinkypete and they will tell you what is possibly with variance when you are often getting money in near a coinflip. you can run insanely hot or terrible over a long period of time. [/ QUOTE ] FWIW this is somewhat of a misconception. Lately I have been getting a nice dose of variance, with a 35-40 imsabuy downswing last month and a 20-25'er this month. Before that, I only had 2 above 20 imsabuys over 300k hands. But when you convert that to real person buyins, my biggest is only 8. If anything else, 400k hands of shortstacking has made me pretty immune to winning or losing flips, although a long stretch of losing is still not fun. |

Re: A visual representation of FGators dollars (serious theory post)
Oh yeah I think if I ever go back to playing 100bb I really do think I have learned a lot about things to implement into my game.
The difference in how players (esp the best regs) play between 2/4-3/6-5/10 is really amazing. |

[ QUOTE ] since when do needfood and gregosu mix it up? it's absurdly easy to put these guys on a hand. [/ QUOTE ] needfood 4bet shoved 22 at me from the SB a few days ago, then spent the next hour taking me on really hard with marginal hands. He's only done that on that one day and he kinda was bad at it, it was really wierd, but I think he must occassionally try to mix it up. [/ QUOTE ] I can tell you from SNGs needfood gets tilty and holds vendettas. He's fun to trap when he gets fired up. Incredibly thread btw. Great food for thought for someone trying to learn cash. |

Re: A visual representation of FGators dollars (serious theory post)
Fgators EV graph:
This does more to validate my claims. If FGators ran at exactly 0EV in "luck" situations, he would be a breakeven player overall. |
