Is Farha part of the 500k table?

If not who is?

[/ QUOTE ]

I think JMan took 750K so he played there I assume.
Assumptions too:
PA
Ivey
Daniel
Doyle(?)
Eli

[/ QUOTE ]

IIRC Jman didn't get invited back for the final day.

Though Gold is a pretty big douche, people respond much differently to him than to other players. If it was some online player that called the clock on Hellmuth people would be talking about what a douche Hellmuth is for taking 10 minutes. Likewise I'm sure if Jamie shushed someone like sbrugby did on HSP3 people would call him a douche.

Don't get me wrong-he definitely sucks but don't be too hard on the guy.

Also fwiw Eli didn't reraise big enough with AA, but with AQ in another hand he made that huge reraise when he got it in vs Safai's TT. Transparent much?

[/ QUOTE ]

There was 7600 in the pot after a raise to 3000 and a call. Eli's raise to 13000 was almost exactly a pot sized raise. I fail to see how this is too small.

The re-raise with AQo was an additional 52K in what was a 43K pot (after he calls the initial 8k raise). Not too much more than a pot raise. Whether it was a good play, you can't call the AQ re-raise huge and the AA re-raise small.

I want to punch Jamie Gold in his eager little face.

[/ QUOTE ]I want to punch him too and I wish they never invited him on HSP, he is not a quality player, his only concern is bluffing everyone off a pot. Also-Sammy needs to GTF off the show. Terrible episode.

[/ QUOTE ]

where do you people play poker?

sammy is one of the most important, if not the most important, player at the table.... what game do you play in that you don't want a looose player with multiple buy ins? sammy is exactly what you look for in a game. do you want to go up against 4 nits 2 rocks and a solid player?

What I meant was that he didn't play the $500,000. Not sure of the actual logistics of how it went down.

For what it's worth, when Jamie brought up the clock and Phil said "How long have I taken?" and a few other players, (I think Daniel and Jenn) said "A long time, Phil". So maybe it was longer than what they actually showed on TV if they were agreeing with Gold.

[/ QUOTE ]

A bunch of them said it was a long time. Gold may be an idiot or whatever, but not because he called the clock. He was an idiot/[censored] for saying that Phil was showboating and was going all-in the whole time, before Sammy had a chance to act.

I try to not hate Jamie Gold but calling a clock when there is over 200,000 in the middle is a prick thing to do.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, I yelled at my tv when that happened. There's $200,000 out there; Phil should be allowed ten freakin' minutes if he wants it. What a dick move.

[/ QUOTE ]

BS. If 200k is worth that much to Phil, then he shouldn't be in the game. Anything more than 2 or 3 minutes is ridiculous.

Did I just see that? Mike Baxtor had a brain fart. WTF was that AI with KQo?

And Eli calling there? he and Sammy must be playing the same money.

West Coast viewer. LOL.

[/ QUOTE ]
The only way the play makes sense to me is that Baxter thought he had 10 outs, and thus had the odds to call. He actually did have 10 outs against Sammy. His blunder was that he forgot about the pre-flop raiser who had yet to act behind him (or maybe he thought Eli would not overcall without a monster). In any case, he was marginally correct to call if all parts fell into place, but idiotically wrong if they didn't.

[/ QUOTE ]

Don't forget also that Jamie Gold was in the pot as well, after Baxter. Though Gold looked uninterested he cannot be immediately put out of the hand because as we know he tries to be the biggest actor in poker.

Just a ridiculous, ridiculous play by Baxter...and yeah I don't know how Elezra called.

Pretty ridiculous shove by Farha too, though it was better than Baxter and Elezra's play.

[/ QUOTE ]

Jamie wasn't just disinterested, he actually folded out of turn, and I don't think he got them back. He was not a factor in Baxter's decision. If Baxter had called Sammy with tw players behind him, it would have been even more idiotic.
