Re: Funniest shows currently on TV
[ QUOTE ]
IFC's "Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman". Hit-n-miss, but when Laura Kightlinger connects, serious rofl lmfao loling ensues. [/ QUOTE ] I really like this show. "Tastes just like you remember, This doesn't taste like my fathers coc" 2.5 men is pretty bad, but they slip in a great rofl line from time to time+ always hot girls. Office is great. More dwight/ Michael being a little less retarded would make this show perfect. Always sunny, great. Could probably be a little better on HBO, but awesome as is. HIMYM- Good show, NPH is awesome. the mushy stuff is a bit much though. 30 rock is my favorite and I always hated tina fey, go figure. |

Re: Funniest shows currently on TV
Flight of the Conchords is pretty funny, but I can't ever say it's the funniest just because it gets really really worn out really fast. I would give my vote to the Office or Curb Your Enthusiasm.

[ QUOTE ] anyone here please explain whats funny about the office? I dont get that show, sometimes there are some good jokes, but by far not funniest show.. Also im not american, so that might be the problem. [/ QUOTE ] this started in England/UK so the US cant claim it as the originator but its and awesome show periroud<----- to drunk to spell [/ QUOTE ] Although the US version is very American humour while the UK version is very British. They're both hilarious, but the British version wouldn't be nearly as successful in the States. The humour is too awkward/painful for many Americans. Its the same reason that Curb Your Enthusiasm hasn't made it as big as other sitcoms in the States. A perfect example is how Ricky Gervais and Steve Carrell's character differ. In the UK version there is very little redeeming about the guy. In the US version they've made him have more positive qualities. Carrell is still self absorbed but he has more caring for the other characters, and more likable in general. |

Re: Funniest shows currently on TV
US version of The Office is even worse than Family Guy. people need to recognize how poor their sense of humour is if they find TO funny

Although, I've only watched the first seasons of Family Guy when it was still pretty original. |

Trailer Park Boys and it's not even close. Best, funniest most original TV show possibly ever. Guns, dope smoking, dope growing, jail, trailer park losers, drunk assistant trailer park supervisors not wearin shirts eatin double cheeseburgers, fukin absolutely ridiculous/hilarious show.
