[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] the worst song I've ever heard [/ QUOTE ] I dunno man. Justin Timberlake has a lot of songs. [/ QUOTE ] at least rock your body, and summer love are catchy. [/ QUOTE ] Being catchy doesn't make a song better in any way atall. A lot of the time it detracts from an already bad song imo. |

But Justin Timberlake is good. [/ QUOTE ] yeah, I think this is one of those spots where mbillie went for a "generic pop star" reference and whiffed because he accidentally named someone good. |

For current top 40 stuff, this makes me want to kill myself: Plain White T's - Hey There Delilah [/ QUOTE ] Easily the worst currently popular song. I'd pay like $100 to get to punch the lead singer in the neck. What's it like in New York City? I'm a thousand miles away But girl tonight you look so pretty Yes you do Times Square can't shine as bright as you I swear it's true |

Re: The Worst Song I\'ve Ever Heard
Oh yeah, and after reading some of the lyrics posted in this thread, I'm pretty sure I could both write and perform a better political song than this one.

[/ QUOTE ] I've always assumed JT sucks just because he was in that Backstreet Boys band (can't remember their name) and just seems like a bit of a MJ wanabe. Am I missing out? Decent songs to check out if I am missing something? |

Decent songs to check out if I am missing something? [/ QUOTE ] He was in 'N Sync FWIW, which was obviously geared toward 14-year old girls, so no need to really bother with any of that. His solo stuff right after that (Justified was the album; Cry Me a River was prob the biggest single) was listenable, but nothing particularly noteworthy. But his most recent album, Futuresex/Lovesounds is very solid, mostly because he got some really good producers (notably Timbaland) to work with him on it. Sexyback is the big single there, which I can't imagine anyone living in a first-world country hasn't heard, but you never know I guess. |

Re: The Worst Song I\'ve Ever Heard
Actually I'm pretty sure "My Love" is the big single. It's so cool even Pitchfork named it #1 single of 2006!
