FWIW, I'm also a lot more into alt rock than rap. The songs I suggested were just a few I found off my Ipod that have decent beats/flow that girls will enjoy, and that aren't complete mainstream crap that's played on the radio every 5 mins. I'm glad to see I'm not the only 2+2er from South Jersey.
