Jesus strat in BBV.

Raising river here is really really really bad without "spewmonkey" read. BK's turn action says "I have a big queen" villains river lead says he doesn't care. (And when the hand is turned up it also says the he's a moran, but one who could still crush most of the NL ijits posting here)

we have made it abundantly clear we like our hand and he is holding a flashing sign that says i don't give a [censored].

[/ QUOTE ]

Okay, but didn't he already make that abundantly clear when he 3-bet two different bettors/raisers on the turn? So why are we capping there and not raising his river bet?

(I'm not arguing for the sake of arguing, I seriously want to know.)

[/ QUOTE ]

Without a read of 'spewtard' the turn check/3bet can be QJ or KQ, as well as AQ and hands that beat us. When we cap we are defining our range such that villain knows we have specifically AQ, 55, or 77. Therefore his river bet is almost allways one of those same hands and more likely 55 or 77.

In hindsight villain is either a total nutter or he was attempting to level us knowing we had the best hand which is also pretty dumb in limit.
