And now if you start a regular table the rake is still capped at .5. So they made HU tables and cut the rake today. Not bad.

Vegas baby Vegas...
A couple initial thoughts:
Hard Rock Pool = teh nuts
Yards of Margarita's = teh 2nd nuts
Nobody plays limit anymore?
LOL @ deuchebag Mandalay regulars.
+~$100 gambooling & I've still blown thru my checking acct...stars withdrawl to follow shortly.
Possibly a trip report pending later.
Vegas baby Vegas.

It's awsome eh?
And yes.. Limit is dying hard in vegas
I stayed at the hardrock too for half the trip..
I highly recommend the venetian for 15/30.. games get shorthanded and die early.
20/40 recommend mirage... any higher and your stuck with bellagio (I hate bellagio).
I love the wynn casino itself , but the 15/30 is a rock garden.. Only useful if you get someone to watch the games and give u a call when it gets shorthanded.

So I say to myself "don't play stars new HU tables until the buzz dies down. It will be filled with 2+2ers".

Thus of course I decide to sit the next 5 hours with competent TAG's HU @ 10/20 and 5/10...
Played super spewy, ran well, had fun and made money.

I heart stars

What is the rake like at 5/10 huhu? Do you need a big fish to overcome 2.5BB/100 that get past flop? I assume TAGs wouldn't be profitable unless they were tilty or weak?

Edit: You get 1 VPP per raked hand, which for me I believe is worth ~4 cents at platinum star, so more like 2.1BB/100, a bit less for folded hands PF, and even less for supernovas.

I dont know if this is the right stat but looking at the "total rake" column I payed 158.00$ in 949 hands so like 1.5BB/100 ish.. Not sure how the capped rake works.

My opponent probabily peeled less than what's correct. But our pots often got big, and I peel too light.. We were doing a lot of 3-betting OOP and rarely folding PF.

In terms of TAGs profitbility. I really dont have a feel for it. I dont know if Im winning big at HU or not. Today I played too spewy... But my results for like 8-9k hands throughout my life have been very positive.. 6-max I can easily identify my edge, HU I have a harder time unelss they REALLY suck.
