Skips don't count as anything. In the playoffs, it'll be almost impossible to win if you don't play all five games though, because you're trying to accumulate points there - it's not based on average anymore. I didn't want to force players to be around for all 12 weeks if they were on vacation or something.

And I agree it's in the spirit of the game to play as many as possible, but there's no penalty for strategizing. And FWIW, I think it's a significant advantage to hit those 8 and 11 games played threshholds if you can.

there are only going to be 20 playoff spots, so at least 1/20 all thing be equal
