talked with Ray Henson today and he as well as the other players were completely disgusted by the lack of class Rain has shown.... [/ QUOTE ] The chair thing is almost certain to make him look bad on TV. Unless he wins the whole thing, I expect ESPN to simply portray him as a young idiot. |

Kevin Kim Eliminated in 32nd Place ($285,678)
Paulo Loureiro raised 200,000 and Kevin Kim moved all in for 700,000. Loureiro called. Loureiro: {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts} Kim: {A-Spades}{K-Hearts} The flop was {J-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}. The turn was the {Q-Spades}. The river was the {6-Hearts}. Loureiro outflopped Kim and won with a pair of nines. Kim headed to the rail in 32nd place. He won $285,678. |

[ QUOTE ]
Featured Table - Christian Togsverd Eliminated in 33rd Place ($285,678) Featured Table Hand #4 - Jon Kalmar has the button in seat 3, Kenny Tran raises from early position to 180,000, Tuan Lam calls from middle position, Stefan Mattson calls from the small blind, Christian Togsverd moves all in from the big blind for about 1.8 million, Tran folds, and Lam thinks for a few minutes before he calls. Mattson quickly folds. Togsverd shows {A-Diamonds}{J-Spades}, and Lam shows {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. Togsverd needs to improve to survive. The flop comes {Q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, and Lam flops a set of queens to take a dominant lead in the hand. Togsverd needs something runner-runner to survive. The turn card is the {4-Spades}, and Togsverd is drawing dead. (The meaningless river card is the {J-Diamonds}.) Lam wins the pot with his set of queens. Christian Togsverd is eliminated in 33rd place, earning $285,678. [/ QUOTE ] 30BBs preflop with AJo? |

man i just don't get it... i remember them removing 1 level from the structure this year, but i can't figure out why last year and this year, compared to 2005, have been soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fast. i never in a million years thought after 2005 i would see 36 players whittled down to 9 in a day. [/ QUOTE ] Last year seemed ridiculously fast, I am shocked to see it going so quickly again, but I think the pressure of big money has really started effecting all of the amateur players. They see the blinds getting huge and start pushing. |
