Was at Starbucks the other day, total comes to $4.04, I give the cashier a $5 and say "I've got the 4 cents". But he is too quick and he punches in 5 and starts scooping up my 96 cents in change. I repeat to him "here I have 4 cents" but he looks at me and says "Sorry, I've already rung you up".

I thought Starbucks was a step up from Burger King, too.

The sad thing is they probably already had three customers that day asking for twelve dozen donuts when they only wanted a dozen.

The thing that people are forgetting is that these cashier retards get off [censored] and join the rest of the population as customers.

So picture the retarded BK guy going into a store and dealing with some retarded cashier. It's like the perfect storm.

I've worked there forever. I am an employee, but we are also good friends. He wouldn't say anything like that if i wasnt already busting his balls.

I will admit that many of these stories are pretty bad and that those cashiers are prob. pretty stupid overall, but I think you guys are too hard on cashiers in general. I worked as a cahier at a grocery store for 2 years, and it's pretty much one of the shittiest jobs ever. It's incredibly mindless and repetitive. Sometimes I'd just have a brainfart and do something dumb, but I'm not retarded.
