A Viet dealer I was friendly with back in my live playing days told me once, "Vietnamese love gamble. Somebody die, go to funeral, bring cards, gamble."
I cracked up. Incidentally, this guy has a pinky finger stumped at the knuckle as though it had been cut off. I never did get that story out of him. |

When Macua first became a gambling place, it was still owned by Portugal not China. It is true that Stanley Ho pretty much had the place monopolized before Steve Wynn had something to say about it...
