From the screenplay of A Few Good Men:

KAFFEE
Stop cleaning up.

KAFFEE
continuing)
Sam. Stop cleaning up.

SAM stops and sits in a chair. KAFFEE sits on the couch.

KAFFEE
(continuing)
You want a drink?

SAM
Yeah.

SAM takes a swig from the bottle.

KAFFEE
Is your father proud of you?

SAM
Don't do this to yourself.

KAFFEE
I'll bet he is. I'll bet he bores the
[censored] outta the neighbors and the
relatives. "Sam, made Law Review. He's
got a big case he's making--He's arguing
making an argument."

(pause)
I think my father would've enjoyed seeing
me graduate from law school.
beat)
I think he would've liked that... an awful lot.

SAM
Did I ever tell you that I wrote a paper
on your father in college?

KAFFEE
Yeah?

SAM
He was one of the best trial lawyers ever.

KAFFEE
Yes he was.

SAM
And if I were Dawson and Downey and I had
a choice between you or your father to
represent me in this case, I'd take you
any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
You should have seen yourself thunder away
at Kendrick.

KAFFEE
Would you put Jessep on the stand?

SAM
No.

KAFFEE
You think my father would've?

SAM
With the evidence we got? Not in a
million years. But here's the thing-and
there's really no way of getting around
this--neither Lionel Kaffee nor Sam
Weinberg are lead counsel for the defense
in the matter of U.S. versus Dawson and
Downey. So there's only one Question what
would you do?

Kaffe is a hot shot lawyer who is completely full of himself especially when dealing with slam dunk law cases. He begins to doubt himself as the trial wears on and when he loses his key witness to suicide, he appears to give up. This conversation leads to him realizing that he can step up and, when faced with adversity, overcome obstacles.

Also, the pact speech from American Pie.

Spoilers: A few from Good Will Hunting have been mentioned, but I would say the scene when Robin Williams reads Matt Damon's letter at the end and then it cuts to Damon driving to California is more applicable to the topic outlined in the OP than any others.

someone mentioned Aliens, and that a few scenes could work. I actually thought this one scene was a bit over-the-top, even for cameron. still loved the movie though

Look about 9 posts up I mentioned it. I actually only mentioned it because it seemed to fit what the OP wanted. I think there are much better kickass scenes in the movie including the 2 I also mentioned in my post.

Another great scene from that movie was when Ripley rescued Newt from the hive and was staring down the queen in front of her eggs with the flamethrower leveled on the eggs. That whole scene where she slowly backs out as the queen nods to the alien guards to back away, then right before she leaves she takes one look at the queen, tilts her head, then lights the entire nest on fire.. pretty badass.

Fight scene in Gladiator when 'spaniard' fights like 5 villians by himself and offs them all in like 10 seconds and then he yells "are you not entertained!" "is that not why you are here?" and spits and throws down his sword in discust.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think the ending scene is the best in this movie. When he drops to the ground with views of his wife. Then the woman yells "Who will help me carry this man." Pretty much the only part in any movie I am guaranteed to get a few tears.

A few from Serenity :

Jayne Cobb: Shiny, lets be bad guys!

--

Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: Come a day there won't be room for naughty men like us to slip about at all. This job goes south, there well may not be another. So here is us, on the raggedy edge. Don't push me, and I won't push you.

--

Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: This is how it is. Anybody doesn't wanna fly with me any more, this is your port of harbor. There's a lot of fine ways to die. I ain't waiting for the Alliance to choose mine.
[shoots Alliance soldier crawling from wreckage]
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: I mean to confound these bungers. Take my shot at getting to Miranda. Maybe find something I can use to get clear of this. So I hear a word out of any of you that ain't helping me out or taking your leave, I will shoot you down. Get to work!

--

The Operative: And are you willing to die for that belief?
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: ...I am.
[pause]
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: [whips out a gun and shoots at Operative several times]
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: [Turning away] 'Course, it ain't exactly Plan A...

--

Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: Y'all got on this boat for different reasons, but y'all come to the same place. So now I'm asking more of you than I have before. Maybe all. Sure as I know anything, I know this - they will try again. Maybe on another world, maybe on this very ground swept clean. A year from now, ten? They'll swing back to the belief that they can make people... better. And I do not hold to that. So no more runnin'. I aim to misbehave.

--

Inara Serra: You came to the Training House looking for a fight.
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: I came looking for you!
Inara Serra: The war's over, Mal.
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: You tellin' me that cause you think I don't know!
Inara Serra: I've just seen so many sides of you, I wanna make sure I know who I'm dealing with.
Capt. Malcolm Reynolds: I start fightin' a war, I guarantee, you'll see somethin' new.

--

Zoë: Do you really think any of us is gonna get through this?
[looks at the other crew members struggling with their guns]
Jayne Cobb: Well, I might.
