if you need more mod help in the future, i would like to help out. i dont think just a few mods can tackle this problem...and i'm on bbv/bbv4lyfe a ton every day. most posters have no problems with me and i think i'd do a good job. anyways, think about it. -nation

I think this is an interesting test run of these rules but I don't think if I come back I will be implementing ghey/retard stuff. I'm also racking my brain to see how this situation can be resolved without me coming back and spending 3-5 hours of my life on bbv a day dealing with idiots. On a sidenote I think t-god would be a good mod for bbv4life. One possibility is for me to take a backburner behind the scenes role for a while and have other lead mods or Ryan step up to the plate for a bit.

i mostly think that if we can break the culture of being an uncreative bunch of halfwits there won't be such a problem. i can understand why "ghey/retard stuff" would be allowed to continue, not that i necessarilly agree. if there were a way of defining: "ghey" such that it wasn't "well i didn't want to write "gay" but i meant "gay," and then having them not go "well i didn't mean it to be offensive to gay people, i just meant 'gay' like 'stupid, bad, awful, crappy, etc'" i'd be way more in tune. i think i'm much closer to thinking that "retarded" is ok than gay/ghey. i think that moving forward (i don't really care if i don't get a full week, honestly, but if you want a full week gone, i'm fine with that too) you should really have a bunch of mods in those forums, most likely the same mods on both forums, and that they mostly don't do much except keep the tone/porn/death threats chilled out, but with 5 or so of them, they could do this quietly and in fewer than 3 hours a day. from what i understand, t-god and nation would both probably be ok. t-god i think would have to understand (but maybe he does) that there's rules that are created above the mod level, and nation would be a problem only in that many dislike him there.

I want to make one sticky that says "use common sense". That would be my ideal world and have 2-3 mods in each forum to enforce it on a fair basis. Not really going to happen but I can dream at least.

[/ QUOTE ] I am going to need a team of people to make this happen, off the top of my head, Nath, Adanthar, probably Nation in BBV and in BBV4life Nath, Adanthar, Nation, Tgod. And I would need Ryan to play a bigger role in BBV.
