I'm not trying to say anyone is an idiot. I pulled my money off of neteller once I heard of the arrests.
I put it on a couple different sites. I'm wondering why everyone else didn't do the same thing. Maybe they only had a small amount of time to do it? Or maybe they thought it was better to just withdraw into their bank account. I guess I'm just wondering how long people had where they could've loaded everything into a poker site? Guess it really doesn't matter anymore. |

I kept most of it in Neteller rather than sites because I trusted Neteller alot more than I trusted poker sites.
Neteller wasn't a gambling company, per se, and were financially regulated, etc. I could see maybe Neteller shutting down to U.S. customers one day in the near future, but I thought they'd give everyone plenty of time to withdraw their balances, rather than freezing it up. The comapny I work(ed) for was recently sold and when I was looking for another job (which I now have) I began withdrawing my money from Neteller right before this crap went down, however I wsa only able to get about 25% of it out. |

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- $11,520.49 in pending EFTs. Fortunately, I already have most of the money I have made playing poker, but this is still a big chunk. The part that hurts the most is that I make $8 an hour at work. What a [censored] waste it's going to feel like going to work for almost nothing. The worst part was that for the past 4 or so months, I have hardly played any poker. In other words, there was really no reason for me to have my funds in my neteller account rather than my checking account. I guess I'll be taking suggestions on the best way to kill myself. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take a few DOJ employees out with you. FYP |
