It's amazing to me that these guys seemed to play ABC poker throughout. Rarely betting when they didn't have it, never raising with garbage at a six handed table, etc. Very strange.

What about Ivey telling Mike that he knew he wasn't bluffing when he had the all-in with second pair-9s?

even though phil was getting better cards/hitting flops he still seemed like he was light years ahead of mike as far as poker savvy/skill. is it just me or does it seem like mike the mouth game has gotten worse with the increased exposure he is getting? i thought he use to be very good, remember the big call he made vs raymer? i thought he had some game, but now i watch him and i think he is typical donkey. his tells are so obvious, i think he really needs to re-evaluate his game. lol.

Not strange at all. With no blind pressure (low and slow-raising), there's little reason to make big-risk/small-reward bluffs. This looks more like a cash game - lots of check-behind turns with good pairs, and the only post-flop bluffs coming after either small flop bets or 1/2 pot shots at the river. No need for "I've got top pair, it must be the NUTZ!" pushfests.

You saw how Jaimie Gold's push/bluff style worked in last week's show.

I'm of course referring to when the blinds got higher. The only real move made the entire time was by Tony G. and surprisingly enough, it didn't work.

The blinds never got "high" though. On MM's bust out hand he still had almost 40BBs. Compare this to the WPT, or even worse Poker Superstars, where towards the end the low stack is lucky to have 5 BBs. Plus, there is no ante in PAd so there's not as much to fight over preflop.

You're not going to see people making nearly as many super aggro moves or getting it all in with no hand when they have that many chips and no ante.
