It's all those damn points I earned at the end of Dec when I played higher than I wanted to.

I don't play that high anymore because I suck at poker.

Hey, I've got some 40% and higher RB at other sites.
Not as great on table-selection but there is certainly money to be made out there.

Teresa and I are extremely unlikely to refuse the bottle of wine though!!!!

FWIW - I'm not sure that $1500 for 27k points per week is that great an offer for you (although still better than mine of course)

That's just so many hands you have to play each and every week.

8095 points for a $425 bonus.

About 6 hours of 4 tabling 3/6 per day for the next 56 days to reach the minimum bonus each week.

I know others are impressed by this bonus, but I think the approach that party is taking here is ridiculous. These deals should be made in consultation with the player, and not based on past play. Circumstances change from one week to the rest. Let us set a points target, then they can tell us the bonus for that number of hands.

I go back to uni in two weeks. I'm not sure I can balance a full load of uni with 30 hours of multi-tabling a week in order to receive a relatively modest bonus.

Anyway, I've sent party an email and we'll see what they say. At the moment, though, I don't feel like a VIP. I feel like an employee being forced to work extra hours.

f'em.

1305 points for $120. I'm currently at 5/10 6max limit with a little 10/20 thrown in. I played about 11k hands in Jan., about 9-10k in Dec. I'm at blue status right now. It says I need to earn 6139 to move to silver, I earned about 6183 in January, and it says my "net" at the end of January is 500-something. I guess this means that, while I earned enough in January to move to blue, they redeemed them for my usual VIP monthly bonus, so I need to earn 6139 "net" on top of the 500 "net" to move up?

Oh I win ...

2090 pts for 65$ !

Wrong. As usual, this little VIP gets the orphan's share: 2415 points/ $65 big ones. At NL/PL I estimate 12,180 hands per week. I was hoping for something a bit better

12180, that's quite low compared to my estimate.

2090 pts / 4 * 20 = 10450 raked hands
At 55% raked (25 full ring), that's 19k hands a week for me.
At 65% raked (50 6-max), that's 16k hands.

Anyway, it computes to 50 hours of play per week

Is it really 55% raked at 25 full-ring?

Don't they rake at NL on really teeny pots (like $0.10 rake or something?)

(note - I don't play cash NL games)

3520 points for a $255 bonus. If only I wasn't sodding Blue level.

Better than some, worse than other. Christ I'd love that $500+ offer above...

It's also a lot of money. I really needed to get my act together anyways. Hopefully, I can do it.

That's insane.

what limits are you playing?
Are you going to be earning like 200% rake-back equivilent after all the other incentives thrown in there?

I would REALLY kill you for that offer (mine is 13005 points for $525).

[/ QUOTE ]

I play 5/10 NL 6 max is why, cause as a NL player I only get 4 points per 20 hands and I play A LOT! And I play 5/10 so rake is max all the time.

Also I put in over 45K hands last month, and I've been doing 2-3K hands a day this month. Also I've had my account for 2.5 years, and been actively playing all those years, I think all those factors = I GOT A GOOD DEAL
