Re: Official XXXXX declared for the NFL Draft Discussion Thread
I'm surprised Carriker isn't in the first rd. in this mock draft.

Re: Official XXXXX declared for the NFL Draft Discussion Thread
Carriker shouldn't be in most of them. He's good, but the field of good pass-rushing defensive ends/linebackers in this draft is pretty big:
Jamaal Anderson Gaines Adams Quentin Moses Jarvis Moss LaMarr Woodley Charles Johnson Lawrence Timmons Carriker could be a first-rounder, but that something for after the combines. Anyways, my revised mock doesn't have him in it either. I'll post that another day. Two drafts too close to each other is no good. As for the mock just posted, I highly disagree with Minnesota's pick. If they really want a wideout, they'll either trade up for Calvin Johnson or trade down and get Jarrett then. It's a waste of a top 10 pick to take Jarrett. If Johnson is gone and they don't trade down, they're likely taking a defensive end such as Gaines Adams or Jamaal Anderson to boost a pass rush that averaged less than two sacks per game. |

This is one of the deepest draft classes I can remember.

Hall didn't cover Jarrett most of the game, their other corner did.
