What "support" is this? Live chat? A phone call? If so, what number? Last time I called the number on Pokes' site, they said that they didn't handle anything to do with cashouts for pokes. It was a support for many sites. And I've recieved no responses to emails just like almost everyone that's posted here. Do they have new help now that is actually HELPING? Please elaborate.

KGL: I also PAB'd in december, and it is not regged on the site.

Here is a mail I received from Nancy Ross.
Anyone care to comment it? Just BS, or does it sound legit?
If it is true, then I have gotten some hope back, but it is till not much..
According to Pokerroomrewiev.com OnGame paid Futurebet the remaining money 3 weeks ago, so they shold have the money, now or soon..

Hi,

Absolutely... payment from Ongame is simply one of the places the funds come in from. When you deposit initially via a payment processor like credit card or Neteller, some of the funds are held in a rolling reserve for 1- 6 months. So when a player deposits funds and then withdraws the next day, essentially the site must pay out the funds prior to receiving them from the payment processor. Therefore, when all players withdraw in a short time, there is delays due to the fact that the funds have yet to be received. The delays in receiving the funds from Ongame only added to the problem.

Regards,

Nancy

Ok.
Thank you for a fair answer.
However I have been told that OnGame processed theire last payout to pokespoker 3 weeks ago.
Are there more places than here where the money can be "stuck"?

Dear Tom,

I apologize for the delay on responding to your emails. The reason that I have not responded is because I was trying to get more information for you before I did. However, I have been unable to get an expected date of payment for you at this time. PokesPoker fully intends to pay all of the pending withdrawals and is working towards that end. Essentially, due to the move off of the Ongame network, the players requested withdrawals of all of their funds. Since the funds are held by payment processors for 1-6 months (depending on the deposit method), the withdrawals are being paid as soon as funds are released. I will let you know as I receive more information of the payment schedule.

Regards,

Nancy

Hi

Why dont you answer my email?
Have you no comment? Do you and Futurebet really think this is going to blow away? Are you not under American law, where I am pretty sure fraud is a felony?
I see on different forums that you have answered mails from several other players, so I dont see why you cannot answer mine. Is it because I asked questions that dont have a "we are looking into this matter" answer.

Best regards
-Tom

No more than 15% of funds is held in rolling reserve - most likely for a new gaming company 10% max, but 15% would be max on a 6 month reserve.

Pokes went to a new network with other sites didn't they? What sites were they and did those sites have any withdrawal problems?

I just canceled my pending $10k cashout to neteller, and asked for a check mailed to me. When I was talking to player support they said try using to the email address help(at)playersupport(dot)com. I just did it 30min ago, so I don't know if this new email address will yeild faster replies.

Live support is just getting rude now. At least a guy named Roger.
I asked them for any updates on the cashout situation,
and I got a reply that I had been creditet with $20.
I then replied that I did not need $20, but 15k, and asked if he could give me an update (not that they ever have any), where he jus replied: "byebye, take care now", and ended the session.
And now livesupport dont reply anymore.

Dangerfish -- thanks for taking the time to do this research. I'm one of the people owed a lot and am willing to fund some legal action.

My latest update: I had requested a NETeller withdrawal of about $37k on Oct 13. This sat pending and, like the rest of you, I never got any responses to my emails to Pokes. I submitted a Pitch-a-bitch in December and it got listed there (Pitch-a-bitch December 2006). No help.

I notice that Bryan at Casinomeister has since given up on Pokes, saying on Jan 19 (link):

[ QUOTE ]
The PAB section is closed for any further complaints concerning Pokespoker. There are far too many complaints for this Futurebet site. Sorry, but those who chose to play there should have done their homework instead of taking a chance with a poker room backed by this software provider.

[/ QUOTE ]

When NETeller pulled out I decided a pending NETeller withdrawal request did me no good. I used the PokesPoker cashier page to cancel it today (Jan 29). They have a Bank Wire option so I tried to cash out almost all of my balance (about $85k). I used LiveChat to confirm this would work. The LiveChat applet connects to support.futurebet.com. The support person "Jeff" informed me that Pokes has a $2000/week maximum withdrawal limit. I said this was the first I had heard of that and asked for a link; he directed me to item 23b in http://pokespoker.com/products/pages/signup/terms.php which states:

[ QUOTE ]
We can send a maximum of $2000 per week. Any amount greater than $2000 is divided (no part can be larger than $2000) and sent on consecutive weeks until the total amount has been delivered.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't remember that sentence being in the terms when I signed up; does anybody have a older copy?

I explained that it would take 43 weeks and $2150 in bank wire fees to do this. He apologized and suggested I use the free Check option instead, but said they would be unable to increase my weekly limit "because, we'll have to be fair to the rest of players as well". I asked if there was any way to escalate my case to somebody who could waive the limit and he replied "I'll check this up for you, but honestly speaking I doubt it." I used the cashier to request a $2k check. I'm not holding my breath.

Meanwhile, over at PokerRoomReview there is a recent news item:

[ QUOTE ]
Pokes Poker Cash-out Problems Update 01/18/2007 05:54 PM
It has been reported that Ongame made its final payment of disputed funds to FutureBet approximately three weeks ago. So, in theory, FutureBet does not have any reason not to clear the backlog of pending cash-outs at Pokes Poker or any other FutureBet site.

[/ QUOTE ]

I am ready to join those taking legal action against FutureBet. Please keep me up to date if anybody is taking real steps in this direction.

Yeah I'm ready for legal action as well, though I don't feel up to coordinating it. Basically, I think we should get a number of us to pitch in something like $100 each to pay a lawyer to write a really threatening letter. As a first step I think that could jolt some people into taking this seriously.
