Apparently Neversoft (developers of the Tony Hawk series) is working on Guitar Hero 3, not Harmonix.

If it makes you feel any better, Harmonix is working on an original project. Keyboard Hero, Drum Hero, Viola Hero, who knows. Maybe even Wavelength (yeah right ).

Seems like this is played with the controller

No, it's played with the SG. You don't hear any clicking because I use a direct feed to record with GameBridge (thanks chuck.) If you're still not convinced, try doing this with a controller:

Jordan

And if you're still a nonbeliever then, well, I'm sure as hell not gonna buy a reg video camera not to prove it.

I am able to 3-star most songs on Hard now, except for when I get to the section that has Psychobilly Freakout. I can't beat any of those songs for some reason.

i just got the game a week ago and I'm running into the same problem. I've 5 starred every medium song, and gotten a meager 3 stars on the hard up to the psychobilly freakout section of songs. I'm getting more comfortable with the hard songs, but still rarely getting a 4 star on any of the ones I play for practice. The jump from medium to hard is too drastic imo. I can't imagine the jump from hard to expert being as big.

It's not. It's the extra button that throws you completely. Expert adds a couple notes here and there, but the time it took me to go from hard to expert was far less than the time it took me to go from medium to hard.

Completed Hard. 22/40 on Expert, Freya is kicking my ass omg.

Also, whose heard about GH2 for the 360? There is supposedly 10 new songs plus downloadable songs in the future. I kind of want to get a 360 anyway, but you guys think it'd be worth it to rebuy the game just for the new songs? I'm thinking yes, only because GH3 is like a year+ away.

I thought it would be worth it too, until I saw the price. $90, ouch. Then you have to figure the downloadable songs are going to cost more, and that leads to a pass.

The way I learned to cope with the orange button is by keeping my fingers in a "base" position of: red/yellow/blue/orange. It's much easier to use your first finger to go between green and red than it is to use your pinky to go between blue and orange. (There are some songs where it's easier to change back to the base G/R/Y/B)

I had a problem with my disc where it would freeze and skip during Stop, so I was stuck there on expert for a while. Now I'm stuck at Laid to Rest. I keep failing at 95%

Oh I didn't know it was you who played this. I thought it was some random person looking for some fame.

I believe you now. Sorry!
