Building the pot when you have the nuts at the time is something I agree with.

So only when you have the nuts should you try to build a pot? Thanks for the input, Dr BB

no, hehe.

I'm saying building the pot soooo big is not my style. Big in the thousands Bart is talking about with a speculative hand.

Just mo.

Great point Bart, build the pot up so big so you can lose 5000 instead of 500 when you're beat with a boat 7 over 3's.

Yeah, k3 is more then likely the best hand but it still not the nuts.

just like the guy who built the pot with 44 against my 64 on a flop of 466.

That didn't work out so good for him.

[/ QUOTE ]

this is pretty horrible. maybe you should play omaha if you always fear the nuts.

My point is obviously not conveying well in writing.

I'm not saying fold the fricken hand, just saying I'd be weary of building the pot thousands of dollars with k3.

This is just coming from a low limit player though.

i understand exactly what you are saying, and im telling you that it is misguided. why would you not want to build a pot with a hand that is way better than the range of hands that your opponent will stack off with? it seems likely to me that you are very results-oriented and fear the rare times that you are cold decked and destined to lose a lot of money with your good hands.

let me ask you this- lets say you raise with AK and get called by a really loose player. flop comes A66. you know that the guy will lose his stack with any ace, but he could also have a 6. would you be willing to get it all in against said player?

Definitely sounds like it wasn't Daves decision.

[/ QUOTE ]

But they say he can "sometimes" announce. This is not too hard to figure out.

[/ QUOTE ]

I think it's pretty obvious that it was not Dave's decision.

If it was his decision to leave, don't you think a guy like Dave would have let everyone know during his last show? Instead, he signed off on the day before Thanksgiving as if he would be back on Monday's show.

There's gotta be something more sinister going on.

Tuchman has a 2+2 account, he could say his peace right now if he wanted.

People say that Scott would be a good color guy.
I think that Bart has become a pretty colorful commentator
since he moved up to the Mercedes...
Keep up the great work Bart.
