Nope, no sign-up bonus. Their only bonus (besides 100% rakeback) is the twice weekly 'Aces Never Lose' promotion, which is on until noon today.

Error report for the coders:

Twice in the last 24 hours I've been kept from logging into WPEX. After I complete the Login form and press OK, then nothing happens for a few seconds, then an error message pops up. Sorry for sloppy error reporting, this may not be exact:

I love the rake structure just the way it is. Please don't alter it.

If enough people aren't wagering in the sportsbook then perhaps make it mandatory that all rake must be wagered through the sportsbook before a player can have it. For the nits, they could place it all on one bet, for example, half on the over, half on the under of the same game. Forfeit 10% to WSEX.

This is a pretty good idea. The only thing that I could see some saying is that it may be illegal. I think sports betting is illegal in the US (not wire, but over the internet too?).
1xsportsbook bonus for the rakeback sounds fun. I like betting on sports on occasion...especially if I'm going to be watching the game...and 1x, like you said, is only 10% of the rakeback or about 1-2% actual rake AND that's assuming that they are never ahead in a sports bet, which I think is false. A 10% edge might be hard to break, but I think it could easily be reduced to where the house only has 2% EV. The sports betting forum has some guy who posts good picks every week. He has a good record, they say, but I have not been following his advice (yet).

I like this idea much better than the 90% rakeback posts. But my favorite is still the idea of the first $50 of rakeback goes to an affiliate or promos, and not the player. Then 100% after that. $50 clears pretty quickly and it is all going toward what brought the player there AND it wouldn't punish any poker junkies as many at least had an account with wpex at some point. But I have been known to be extremely wrong before, so I will let the zoo decide (gasps!). But to go back to your idea for a sec, yours has the ones who use the site the most (getting the most rakeback) giving some back, which I feel is fair...maybe both, I don't know, once the software improves (unless it is a catch 22). It's fine by me but I know it really bothers some.

Taking away the $50 freerolls for a few days may have been partially due to my proding - I'm not worthy wpex seemed to lose much traffic during that time, which really surprised me, but there it is. SORRY!

I honestly don't think anything affecting rakeback should change. There is nothing worse than being on more than 1 table and losing connection. I have no problem living with it. I am a huge fan of wsex. If I were not a cash game player I would not care about rakeback. Only through positive word of mouth will the poker end grow and hopefully translate to sportsbook. People really need to publically complain less. The live chat works great with wsex. They also respond to emails with real responses quickly. It only hurts business to constantly put down a site which offers easily the best promotion of 100% rakeback and 2 days of aces never lose. I can easily live with any issues. It's a cash game players dream.
