I think this is a solid deal but I have questions on all 3 of the guys you are getting.

Kevin Jones is bad against good run Ds but kills bad teams.

Looking at his schedule:

Falcons-Bad
49ers-Good
@Cardinals-Good
Dolphins-Bad
@Pats-Bad
Vikings-Horrible (see earlier game)
@Packers-Good
Bears-Horrible

Willie

@Raiders-Great
Broncos-Horrible
Saints-Decent
@Browns-Great
@Ravens-Horrible
Buccaneers-Good/Decent
Browns-Good/Decent
@Panthers-Could be good but I'd say Decent at best
Ravens-Bad

LJ (mixed bag this year although has been the 2nd most consistant back this year per game)

Seahawks-Decent
@Rams-Good
@Dolphins-Bad
Raiders-Great
Broncos-Bad
@Browns-Great
Ravens-Bad
@Chargers-Should be bad but who knows right now with the Merriman Situation and injuries
@Raiders-Great

LJ has a potential for a lot of big games. Also with Leftwich hurting, I don't trust Reggie Williams as much right now and would rather than Wayne, Moss, or Galloway which would be tougher to get.

Right,

I really want to unload James, and he might bite if I can offer enough of an upgrade at WR ... we start two WR, and I have:

Holt, A. Johnson, Coles, Wayne

Thanks for you input.

[/ QUOTE ]

jesus how did you get all those guys?

just package coles or wayne with james and see what you can get for them.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's what I'm trying right now ... we'll see if he bites.

How did I get them all?

(7) E James RB ARZ
(17) T Holt WR STL
(30) C Taylor RB MIN
(37) R Wayne WR IND
(47) A Johnson WR HOU
(60) C Dillon RB NE
(67) M Bulger QB STL
(77) F Taylor RB JAC
(90) L Coles WR NYJ

...

[/ QUOTE ]

Sportingngews.com Fantasy Football- Standard Scoring:
Start: QB,2xRB,3xWR,TE,RB/WR,DEF,K

I would give up: Larry Johnson and Plaxico Burress
I would recieve: Kevin Jones, Willie Parker, Reggie Williams

My Team:
QB: Hasselbeck, Brees, Brady
RB: LJ, Fred Taylor, Maroney,Droughns, Mo Morris
WR: Buress, Branch, Keyshawn, Kennison
K : Josh Brown
TE: Heath Miller
DEF: Jax, Denver

His Team:
QB: Favre, Brunell
RB: Tiki, Parker, K.Jones, Tatum Bell
WR: Reg. Williams, Reggie Wayne, Santana Moss, Joey Galloway, Joe Horn, Mike Furrey
TE: Crumpler, Cooley
K: Shayne Graham
DEF: Dallas

[/ QUOTE ]

It looks pretty fair right now but I think you could make it alot better for yourself if you tried to give him a QB instead of Burress. Even if hassellbeck is out you still have two QBs there taht are better than either of his.

Okay, I think I've finally hit a deal with this guy that really works ...

I have,
RB: E. James, C. Taylor, C. Dillon, F. Taylor
WR: T. Holt, A. Johnson, L. Coles, R. Wayne

I give: F. Taylor, L. Coles, R. Wayne
I get: W. Dunn, K. Johnson, Cotchery

Cotchery is a throw away, but who cares. I get some depth back at WR (I'm starting holt+johnson every week anyway), and upgrade my RB.

I think Coles and Wayne are quite a bit too much to give up for the extra 1 or 2 points/week you will get with Dunn vs Taylor.

Do you know I'm talking about Fred Taylor?

Also, what use do I have for those WRs, if I'll never start them the rest of the season anyway? (and coles looks like he's on his way down - injury wise)

Do you think I should just keep one of those WRs and try to work another trade?

By my leaugue's scoring fred taylor has averaged 10.5 pts per game compared to Dunn's 11.8.

Coles has better playoff matchups than johnson esp. if your leaugue goes to week 17 when he plays the raiders.

I realize you arent really losing much as far as your team goes but I just think you are giving up too much value for a very slight benefit to your team.

Theres got to be someone else you can trade with who has a slightly better RB to give up and who is more desperate at WR.

Also I wouldn't mind keeping either Coles or wayne just in case one of your top two get injured.

was just proposed this trade in a standard yahoo league. my team is...

QB P. Manning
WR T. Owens
WR J. Walker
WR E. Kennison
RB W. Dunn
RB R. Droughns
TE A. Crumpler
K M. Stover
DEF New York giants

he has offered: ronnie brown, reggie williams and atl defense for my javon walker and baltimore defense. i think this is a reasonable trade considering brown is better than droughns, but i really like javon walker too. what do you guys think?

the defense doesn't really matter to me, if he thinks he's getting an upgrade in baltimore D, he's probably right, but i dont care because i already have giants D who seem to be getting hot.

WTF Take this instantly before he can change his mind.

williams and walker are nearly interchangable and hes giving you a top ten running back for a freaking defense.

gogogogogo

edit- I guess walker is slightly better than I thought but I would still take this in a heartbeat.

How bad is this?

I give up Javon Walker and Cadillac Williams for Marvin.

Reasoning, I don't trust Javon. I think he's very talented but Plummer is terrible. Marvin will get TDs. He only has 3 now and he's gotten atleast 10 in god knows how many season.

I can afford to trade Cadillac since I will still have Tatum, Gore, Green, and Leon Washington after this week. Do you guys think it's a good deal or am I giving too much or not giving enough?
