Ed - hahaha, good point. Bacon baking, here I come...

Diablo - omg, that is awesome. You are the greatest recommender of things in the history of the internets, thanks.

Al - I never baked bacon until yesterday, after reading this thread. It turned out really good, and cleanup was a snap (just put bacon on cookie tray, bake, when done, very easy to pour off fat and save for later, and throw cookie tray in dishwasher). To be honest, I don't eat as much bacon as I'd like because I hate scrubbing the pan afterwards, but baking diminishes this problem. I think I'm going to make myself a turkey club for dinner tonight.

I'd just like to add that the discovery of bacon baking through this thread is probably the best thing I have ever learned from OOT.

sam: Even better than the dryer>ironing board trick? Maybe that's standard, but it's changed my life in so many ways. Ditto the sandwich flipping. Still, I'm gonna give it a shot.

Bacon: I like you for breakfast more than as a condiment. However, I have to tell you I'm in love with your brother (Sausage). Can we still be friends?

Yes. I think the Japanese t-shirt folding technique thing may have been the best, but I have not mastered it.

Sam - I got up early this morning for work to bake bacon. It was fantastic. I also read somewhere on the internet that the grease from baking >> grease from frying for cooking purposes. I don't know why.

Japanese t-shirt folding thing is easily the best thing I've learned from OOT.
