AND NO

No. Excellent movie.

If you like sleeping.

Or a fun and funny movie with a super hot Scarlett Johansson.

[/ QUOTE ]

* The movie wasn't funny at all. (I only briefly smiled in one scene.

* It wasn't entertaining. (It's a movie about being bored, after all).

* Scarlett wasn't at all hot in the movie. (She's looked good in other movies. Not that one).

And I'll second the nomination for Raging Bull. No character development at all. So you're stuck watching a movie about unappealing characters where nothing really happens.

Wow, you're crazy if you don't think Scarlett was hot in Lost in Translation. She looked her best as far as I'm concerned.

Annie Hall, or really any Woody Allen movie. Watching Woody Allen makes me cringe.

Titanic

Face/Off

Traffic

Eraserhead (if anyone likes it)

I like to say Lost in Translation to piss people off, but it wasn't THAT bad and not that many people really liked it that much.

Your kidding, right. The movie is a critical darling, both by movie critics and by OOT. It's the movie where Ebert basically said people who don't like it are idiots.

It's the perfect example of an overrated movie.
