[/ QUOTE ] Their scores are weighted, e.g. if some douchebag rates me a 1 out of spite, it's not factored into the average if he does this to every guy he clicks on. And I gave myself a 7, if I didn't work out, it would be more like 4-5.

The scale based on a what a really hot girl thinks when she see's you across the club or street etc should be something like this.
10-OMG...He's so beautiful, he's got to be gay, or married, or a supermodel....Oh God he's looking at me....he must think I'm so ugly...I knew I shouldn't have eaten that bagel. I'd pay to [censored] him...even if I was dating Brad Pitt. 9--Wow...he's got to be a fashion model...so [censored] hot. I'd [censored] him in a second even if I was married. 8--Damn...he's hot...he could probably be a model, defnitly an actor. I'd ride him all night...what my boyfriend doesn't know won't hurt him. 7--Wow...he goodlooking...he should work out and he'd be really [censored] hot. I'd [censored] him if I was single. 6-Oh he's cute. I'd probably [censored] him after a couple of dates even if he doesnt have much going on upstairs. 5-Oh he's kinda cute...if he'd clean himself up and get in shape he'd be pretty darn cute. I defnitly go on a date with him. 4-Ehh he's ok. I guess I'd go out with him...he probably has a really good personality. 3-He really needs to get a gym membership...but his face is ok...hello, ever heard of shaving? I should set him up with Rhonda...she needs to get laid...its been ages. 2-Ehh kinda ugly...but he looks like those 80's porn actors. I don't think a gym membership is gonna do much for him. 1-Oh my god...hello..its called rogaine. I bet when the casting people on a TV show say we need a ugly dude...he's gets the part everytime.

Attractiveness starts out as a narrow category and just gets narrower really rapidly, so you only need a few numbers to rate it. Whereas being average -- or worse -- covers almost everybody, especially people who are at least past their early to mid 20's. You need plenty of numbers for that. There's a real depth and variety to ugliness that beauty doesn't have to bother with. [/ QUOTE ] Every post you make is dead on accurate. I have tried to explain this to people several times but it never works. They always think 10% of the people should be 7's, 10% should be 6's, etc. It doesnt work like that... Great post!
