As I was just saying to CMI on AIM, I voted for Elaine more to see if it'd actually happen than anything else. She trolls enough that it'd be justified, but I wouldn't be pissed if censored didn't pull the trigger, because when she's not deliberately being trollish she's actually a good poster. Just a read through of that Vegetarian thread illustrates that, as she shows both sides off and on in there.


People who shouldn't be banned: Sponger, gildwulf, Gunny, Dominic, spaceman bryce, diebitter. I'd defend Andrew Karpinski but if exile's an option then I don't see much reason to; my main interaction with him is in POG, and I also hear he's a good SMP poster, but his OOT stuff has been pretty exile-worthy.

I can't understand why that thread devolved into such a ridiculous argument, but I think a lot of the hate stems from the fact that it was between Elaine and the masked man from whose nuts the balance of power in the Western Hemisphere hangs. Honestly I don't see why either of them would bother. Both are obviously intelligent enough to understand what the other is saying but are being stubborn.

There is no way a thread about letting your cell phone ring needs to go 10 pages and generate that kind of animosity.

this is a very good question. 5 months ago he would have been #1 on the list. He has not really made much of an impact in recent months and hence being left out.
