I want to hedge my bet by depositing and putting an additional $40 on the Jaguars. Is there any reason that I can't do it on BetWWTS at the same time? I could do it on Bodog, but the odds are less favorable there.

the 20 dollars bonus is kind of risk free folks. Because its a bonus you should just wager and at worst you lose it and it was free money.

DO NOT MESS AROUND WITH THE $20 BONUS.

Suppose you put $20 on a throwaway game and lose it, then the Steelers win and you have $190 in your account.

YOU CAN ONLY WITHDRAW $170, you'll have to leave $20 in the account because you haven't earned the bonus yet. Gambling with the bonus money before it's earned = gambling YOUR money.

The 20% has to be rolled 5 x but it isnt as bad as it sounds. Just make your bets as normal and take all arbs at -2% or less. If you lose at BetWWTS then your money is now at nonbonus book. Very unlikely that you actually have to bet 5x the D+B, but it would be possible.

"Bonus funds, plus deposit amount must be rolled over at least five (5) times before bonus monies can be withdrawn"

That means $600 in total wagers. That $20 is extremely hard to turn into cashout-able money... and if you lose the $20 it counts against you.

"Withdrawal of any amount made within 30 days of initial deposit will result in bonus monies being forfeited"

If you cash out before earning the bonus, the $20 disappears, you can't even throw it around on a freeroll.

This so-called bonus is going to end up costing a LOT of people money, because they think it is free...

Please do a minimum amount of research before bitching. You can turn down the bonus. Then you only have to rollover your deposit 1x.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.

Most people won't turn down the bonus, as they see no reason to do so. Many of them will bet the $20 on some random game, thinking it's a freeroll. Half of those people will lose $20 of their own money. Am I incorrect about this?

Are people honestly going to think that the 20% signup bonus has no wagering requirement? I can't imagine anyone who isn't a complete newbie to all forms of online gaming (poker, sports, casinos) would assume that money is literally free. Only the Pittsburgh bet is advertised as being special and having no rollover requirement.

Everyone knows that the 20% bonus has a wagering requirement before you can cash it out. But many people (including a number of people posting in this thread, and the similar thread in the Internet Bonuses forum) do not understand that the $20 counts against you if you lose it.

Many people see the $20 as a freebie they're getting for signing up, and if they lose it, then no big deal. They are not aware that losing the $20 "bonus" means they will be forced to cash out $20 less than they could have cashed out otherwise. They think they're taking a free gamble, they don't understand that they are risking their own money.

Well I declined the 20$ bonus bet for good reasons. For one you have to keep all you money in their sports book for a entire month before being allowed to withdrawl.. have fun.
