I assume time charge is only like $6-$7 per half hour (that's a fairly standard time charge) so I don't think it's a huge deal for everyone to throw him a couple bucks and be like "well if you don't play then this guy doesn't want to play short and then it's just 3 of us and that's a crappy game etc etc" [/ QUOTE ] its $12 for a down (40 minutes) usually, but was only $8 when shorthanded. And yea thats pretty much how it went down. "Hey man we dont want this game to break, so if you really are going to be that stubborn, we'll pay your first time for you" and we all threw a few bucks in. He wasnt opposed to paying time, of course, just that he had to pay it right off the bat. |

The game plays with a weirdish structure, especially compared to Australian live games (no live straddles and other nonsense). So it plays somewhere from 25/50 to about 50/1?

[/ QUOTE ] Depending on whether the kill is on or not, it plays something like a 20/40 or a 40/80. I'd say 25/50 is a good estimate, probably. While the $2000 minimum is not a shortstack in the way we know them online, it doesn't really afford one much room for play, so the people sitting on those usually don't last too long one way or another unless they're really nitty. |
