Never heard of Lemon Pepper, and I stayed away from putting in all the types of things I've heard of because some of them are obscure.

Too late now, but I would have added two more questions: whether you prefer big or small wings and whether you mess with the celery/carrots/etc. I don't bother with that crap, and generally offer it to others to graze on.

I definitely prefer the wing over the drumstick, and definitely prefer small over big. There is too much random crap going on in a drumstick for me to negotiate, whereas with a wing I can get my teeth in there and rip out the meat, much like an old typewriter after you hit the carriage return.

By the way, the ranch/blue cheese stuff is definitely regional, I think. Back east from what I understand blue cheese is the norm, whereas out here you see very few places that serve it by default. I think I like it better but I'm cool with ranch.

Also, double-dippers in a shared side of sauce deserve a beat down.

In restaurants, I actually prefer smaller as well. At home, I only use Publix drumettes because they are larger and I usually lose a little meat when skinning them.

All double-dippers should be beat down.

oooh, 33 cent wings tonight at one of the local places. Although I might have to work, which means I am getting wings at work if so.

I wish I could remember the name of the place, but there was this wing joint in Keene, NH that was [censored] awesome. I remember making the hour each way drive from UNH to pick up a ton of their wings for rush events at our fraternity. So, so good, but I think they may have changed hands since the last time I was there.

I am a member of the chicken wing elite, and I absolutely refuse to eat anything that is considered a 'boneless' wing.

I've noticed I'm not the of the chicken wing elite here, because I share all of the sentiments -

1 - I'm all about ripping some flesh off of the bones
2 - The best way to order them is "hot as possible but still with flavor", usually the 2nd hottest on the menu accomplishes this
3 - bleu cheese is the only acceptable dressing, ranch users deserve to be ridiculed
4 - the size of the wing is seriously overrated. Smaller wings are best because you obviously get a more optimal skin/sauce to meat ratio.

That covers the basics of eating them, but for cooking wings, the deep frying then shaking in a tub of redhot and butter is king. I usually add a secret combo of spices to the tub to give the wings a little extra kick.

I like them hot, with bleu cheese. My favorite come from a bar near me, they use some kinda garlic parmesan, its awesome. [censored] the stupid veggies
