Default Re: Settle a bet: How many internet players will clear $1-Mil in 2007?

playing 25/50 on 4 sites at once for just about every waking momment of July I made almost $100K. I ran pretty hot also.

It would be next to impossible to do 1M w/o playing a lot of $50/100 in addition to tons of $25/50 and being a top player at both.

I'd say pretty much anyone who is doing it are 100/200+ regs.

any player who is doing it should thus be in HS DB. I'd be amazed if more than 50

the fact that they're speaking strictly of results will produce an over representation of super high stakes players. you stick a dozen nearly evenly matched players together, and some are going to wind up a dozen or so buyins ahead of long term expectations.

i dont think that's enough to jack it up to 125 players. but i doubt that it's lower than 50.

for us limidonks, i think the number is pretty low.

you basically have to be playing a ton at 50/100+, and there are very few games that regularly run that high - and of the ones that run, there arent that many big winners. The number of limit players who have cleared 500k is MUCH higher by comparison, because of how active 30/60s and 15/30s are by comparison.
