Re: The Office: 10/04/07
The more I think about it, the more Michael's rant at the attorney's office becomes believable-- while it was kind of an absurd decision for him to make after leaving the lake, it is absolutely 100% Michael Scott to completely destroy the goodwill he had created with the one client who was considering returning their business.

Also, am I the only one who thinks Kelly is awesome and hilarious? "I've been dating a LOT of guys. Black guys, mostly." [/ QUOTE ] Kelly has been awesome for a long time. She doesn't get mentioned enough in these threads. |

[ QUOTE ] I have friends who think that the over-the-top Michael Scott is the most hilarious part of this show. I'd rather have the writers and producers pander a bit to my friends so that they can reach a Season 4, especially when the alternative is to keep the show an underground hit and have it go the way of Arrested Development. [/ QUOTE ] You think the office is an "Underground hit"? Seriously? [/ QUOTE ] might want to reread this one hopey. the lake scene was awful, but rest was awesome so i forgive them. this is like watching the simpsons back in the day. you're gonna laugh at all the good jokes and you're gonna have friends that laugh when Homer says "D'oh" and Bart says "Don't have a cow man" |

still can't get on Dunder Mifflin Infinity [/ QUOTE ] That's what she said. I liked the lawyer scene. At first I thought Michael was going to go one step further with a joke and the lawyer's daughter. I was glad that didnt' happen cause it was borderline getting uncomfortable. So does Toby have a crush on Pam insinuating that it won't last? I thought the I'm pregnant was pretty classless which = hilarious. |

Another meh episode overall, a few good laughs but most of it felt "off", similiar to the premiere. [/ QUOTE ] the first ep sucked (compared to other office eps) this one was GREAT. its a simple formula i think. less michael = more laughs. |

So does Toby have a crush on Pam insinuating that it won't last? [/ QUOTE ] Yes, this has been a running theme for some time now that Toby likes Pam and tries to show it but she never catches on at all. Remember Pam mentioning in the bar that she liked the stuffed animal in the video game and Toby spending hours winning it for her? Then when he gives it to her, she says that he should just give it to his daughter. |
