[/ QUOTE ] Your man is wrong, I studied this issue extensively (not my choice, for a class) and any view that says that Hitler or Mussolini are socialists rests on an unanalyzed and equviocal definition of socialist. We haven't even defined what it means to be one exactly, however,
most of your points which 'prove' that Hitler was a socialist also prove that over 90% of world/country leaders in the last 100 years were socialists: the term is used (and/or implicitly defined) so broadly as to render it meaningless and useless.

BTW-I think dictatorship is bad. Don't get my wrong. But your way of trying to analyze "socialism" is neither fair or enligtening
