NL cant be played with scared money, you say you were waiting for a position all night to take this guys cash- then you start to make excuses (albeit viable ones, depending on your bankroll) when you are in a great position to do that- if he had been at the table 12 hours he probably wont be sticking around much longer, you probably wont get a better position than this, ever.
This looks for all the world like AA, it doesnt seem like the villain would play top trips this fast- I would call this 100% of the time, and if he does have kings id leave the table quickly and buy a bottle of vodka.
If he has a flush draw (this is quite posible and hits you are within your legal right to knock him out and steal his chips.
It was mentioned above in the thread that he probably doesnt know how to gain value from a hand- I know quite a few 'WPT viewers' who play poker, and I can tell you the first thing they learn is to slow play hands (you were sitting at the table with him thoguh- the importnat observation here would be; was he slow playing big hands ever- if he was then this is an even easier call) however categorizing a player as 'generic donk' can lead to a world of pain.

Close your eyes, call and get ready for him to hit his third A on the river, I guarantee you would make this call any day if it was low stakes- EV is the same at any limit.

Guys,

The results really don't matter. In fact to make that point I hope the OP doesn't post them. All that matters is making the right decision in this situation and all others to the best of one's ability.

I think we all know that the results do not matter. We are all just interested in how the hand turned out. After all it is a very very big pot for 2/5
