Nerd,

14 hours for an Oregonian? I get to San Jose in 14 hours from Seattle.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, it's really only about 10 to the Bay Area from Eugene, but even that is pretty dang long.

I think Bernie lives in WA as well. He's a Muckleshoot regular from what I've read in the past.

Cheque from UB arrived today so I should be set for foxwoods as it'll clear in like 3-5 business days. UB cheques are given to Canadians in $CDN, so I have no idea what they charged me on that.

Life is good, though. I should be able to go to foxwoods.

[/ QUOTE ]

Looking forward to meeting you, sir. What dates are you planning on coming, exactly?

[/ QUOTE ]

I believe he'll be arriving via le Chateau TPK et Babar so hopefully Thursday night through Sunday. Also, I now have Thursday off from work so we could probably come down to your place in time to have dinner, go to Hartford to support my [censored] brotha, and get a little wastey whilst playing HOES.

[/ QUOTE ]

Does that mean that David will be coming with you guys down to place? Should be a good time if so.

Also, dude... don't even [censored]' worry about it.

[/ QUOTE ]

That is indeed my understanding of the situation. So we can spend all of Thursday ballin, etc. Hopefully the sound of the poker chips won't be too loud.

This is true, but I haven't met him. Last time I was out there, he'd left the Muck before I arrived, and the time before that, I heard his name called for 20/40, but I didn't see who answered.

my gf's friend lives in San Francisco. She has driven up and it took her 12 hours with her boyfriend. Looking at San Jose's proximity to San Fran and eyeballing distance I figured about 2 hours between the two. How fast do you drive, wook?

SF is kind of a pain to get to, actually. I wouldn't be surprised if it's about 12 hours to SJ, too.

people needing housing on the nights of:

fri 18: BBB, TPK, DC, MoM, DrM, DRF
sat 19: BBB, TPK, DC, DRF

possibly BC for one or both of those above nights; not sure.

sun 20: unsure this point, depending on how pokered out we are and who decides to stay.

So looks like I will book now for those two nights. All in favor or opposed, lemme know pls.

It's only about 1 hour from SF to San Jose. Just man up already! I didn't bitch when I drove 10 hrs to Vegas from San Jose picking up Buzz along the way.. and neither did Beni who drove from Colorado both ways uphill in the snow.. oh wait.... well he still didn't complain.
