I think future weeks will be better. Sheiky and Phil are too much to handle.

Another poster mentioned it already, but I think it bears repeating. Some type of graphic that shows blind size, stack size and button/blinds position would really help. I love the absence of commentary, but some kind of "perma-graphic" would make it much easier to follow.

Suggestions -

Every time a player states he's bored (a la Shieky) - 2 drinks

Every time a player visibly tries to sleep at the table (Hellmuth did this over the last half of the show) - 3 drinks

others?

[/ QUOTE ]

Every time Hellmuth calls a yet-unseen hand with complete accuracy (Like him or hate him, he does this with great regularity, which is why he is such a good player), watch one episode.

[/ QUOTE ]

That is great, the A-7 hand from Huck for example. He also walked to Shana and went on to commentate during the hand. How can he call out that exact hand on that board?

[/ QUOTE ]

Fairly easy on that hand he basically said Huck had a 7 with a good kicker...... The hand with Annie Duke where shiek wanted to see it so bad, easy hand to figure out when she shows a 6 and shieky shows a ace and folds and she goes "I had the best hand, But im sure you had outs to my hand"

But I do agree he has a great ablity to read hands.

What are they doing throwing around bundles of cash in a tournament? Is that to try and make it look cool like HSP? This show is retarded.

[/ QUOTE ]

Mori Eskandani and Eric Drache are executive consultants on HSP and are producers of Poker After Dark so there is a connection.

A couple of other comments - this is the first poker tournament I've ever seen that it looks like Huck actually would like to be there - usually he seems he would rather be anywhere else. I thought it was funny when Gus went to work his magic with Shana and Z went over immediately.

The best commentary that I've heard on a poker show was on monte carlo milllions.

Shauna: Couldn't care less. Get her off the show, as far as I'm concerned. It's about poker, not T&A.

LMAO. This is more of a reality show than a poker show.

Phil Hellmuth is such a douchebag. I never really saw him play where there was alot more commentary, but he seriously is an idiot.

Now he can't use his "reading abilities!" Oh nooo!

rofl. I can't tell if Phil is hamming it up for TV or if it's genuine anymore. It's obviously at least partly genuine but I just don't know if it's 100%
