Triumph, we have plenty of hands together. Why don't you just look at PT? In any case, I advocate playing straightforwardly OUT OF POSITION yes. In any case, I am literally laughing out loud at the fact that I've been called 'spewy' and a 'nit' in the exact same thread. You guys are awesome.

mostly grunching.

you could at least do it with j9 or 79 on this board. i mean wtf. you cant rebluff every time you think hes bluffing, only a certain % of those times. and if you're rebluffing oesds and gutshots you're probably rebluffing too much. so at least align the certain % of the time that you rebluff when you have better equity! there is no reason to choose a gutshot+backdoor over an oesd.

someone discredit this please

dust - why wouldn't you always rebluff a bluff? by definition, bluffs can't call an all in, right?

this is really standard

no idea why ppl are hating so bad

standard move to pull rarely, but you do need to pull this move occasionally. lol @ all the haters. So I guess you only 3 bet this flop deep with a set then? Ya, you guys must be a real challenge to play against.

[/ QUOTE ]

Agreed, you should be doing this some of the time. My only complaint would be that you didn't raise enough. I think that '4x'ing it gets the best results.

I tend to call/ c/r or lead turn in these spots, but occasionally do stuff like this.

I haven't had good immediate results with this play, but have gotten more action when I do 3-bet for value here, in a later hand.

I've also been busted on the 4-bet re-bluff before, running into sets.
