The other day, Anacardo tried to get me to defend Wisconsin / the midwest as the best place to live. I think it was based on some discussion he'd had with Schneids. I didn't oblige him.

First off, I've only been to maybe 10 states, and have only lived in one. So my first-hand experience isn't nearly high enough to defend Wisconsin. Secondly, from what I know about the various states, I think there'd be plenty of positives to living/visiting just about any state outside the ten worst on CMI's list.

I think he proceeded to call me a blight upon my ancestry and that I would be struck impotent. Or maybe that was because I was a Niners fan, whichever.

Point being that there's plenty of good and bad things about most states, and I'm not unusually loyal to my own simply because it's where I grew up. I can see the positives to New York, California, Texas, etc etc, and would like to move around a few times in my life to experience them.

Plus, they're all better than Canada anyway. Even Alabama.

Alabama at 1, good choice. Tennessee at 4 is retarded, Nashville is awesome and Memphis has very good poker nearby.
