TT, your arrogance, like Nate's used to be somewhat charming, but after a few posts the charm goes away and we are left with the ...substance?

Hmmm.... Maybe there is something to this; could it be that TT is nate?

If one guy says it, it could be just a lone dufus in the wilderness. But if two guys say it - well, does anybody really know? (Granted, odds are still 8:1 in favor of two lone dufi in the wilderness).

On the internet, even my dog can be a star. Jury's open on the issue (nate = TT? (= dog??)).

TT,
I am a local that refuses to play 4-8 and 8-16 at the Bellagio because the floor treated me like dirt as well on several occasions. I don't expect them to fluff my pillow and give me a massage, but I expect people in any position at any casino to at least be courteous and not act like a complete prick. I am not sure why you think that just because the Bellagio doesn't "need" my play they are justified in having horrible customer service?
Because they do have horrible customer service (and because it is too crowded, no computerized list, and several other issues I have) - I won't play there - that doesn't make me a nit - it makes me a smart consumer.

[/ QUOTE ]

re-read my post.. its not nitty to avoid the Bellagio if they don't cater to your needs, it makes you a wise consumer. It is however typical of local nits to complain about the lack of low limit games and poor treatment of low limit players, as if the world revolves around them. Lets face it, its not a the room you should want to play in for low limit games - and the staff there doesnt attempt to hide that fact.

[/ QUOTE ]

Something about this bothers me, and I've never even played at the Bellagio. It sounds as though (from various posts) that they show the low-limit players disdain or perhaps even contempt.

If they are going to spread low-limit games, they SHOULD treat the customers who chose those games with courtesy, not disdain. Period. If they don't want low-limit games, then perhaps they shouldn't spread them, but there is no excuse for treating customers as nuisances. If you open a fine steak house and, somewhere on the menu of filets and sirloins, you offer a ground beef patty, the customer who orders that meal should still be treated with courtesy.

It also sounds as though low-limit players would probably do better elsewhere and perhaps really shouldn't waste their time at Bellagio. That however in no way justifies staff rudeness (if it exists).

Having a bad day, are we?

By the way, the reason that "we already went through this" might not be reading comprehension. It might just be ... (drum roll) ... that a few folks who can read are enjoying a little laugh at the expense of someone who can't write?

Lighten up, cheese-whiz.

Someone is missing something about what is going on here. It is unlikely that MGM Mirage would terminate a bunch of senior management unless there was some sort of policy dispute. There has to be more to the story.

Were any dealers promoted to fill the floor spots.

[/ QUOTE ]

Only the ones dummy enuf to take the job. Hehe...I can call them that cuz they are co-workin buddies.

Actually, if they got the right spots in the room, it could be considered a promotion. Get the wrong spot, definate bad move to the pocket book.

I dont get the thought here that people think Doug Dalton would quit Bellagio to go to Mohegan Sun. It seems way out of whack to me. Here he can have his cake and eat it too. And often!!
