3. How do I see someone’s IP address? I can’t figure that out. Is this another privilege that I need to have added?

Hover your cursor on the fourth right icon, (a computer), at the bottom of the window under the name.

All -

StevieG asked me to post this in the mod forum in regards to the VB switch-
==================================================
In response to Iron's request for a "How to use vB" post, I drafted something. Having no access to the mod forum, I posted it on the vB test forum. here is a link:

http://vb.twoplustwo.com/showthread....214#post396214

Could you post this in the Mod forum on my behalf so that we an get a review of it before posting it in ATF?

Thanks,
SG

That reads really well. Clear, informative, and friendly.

It has quelled my fears considerably, so think what it will do for the computer inept.

You probably already said this somewhere and I missed it, but it looks to me like user notes are not coming over in the upgrade. Is that correct?

I suggested to him that he might post it in ATF and we could lock-sticky it, including a link to an open duplicate thread for questions and comment.

If he thought of any additional points to make, we could edit them in, or he could include them in the duplicate thread, as he seems to have nailed almost all of the important stuff, already.

I'd be very happy to post it for him, but he might like his name on a thread that will undoubtedly have thousands of views.

Would you like to ask him what he'd prefer? Thanks.

Stevie is still awesome.

We should save this for after, though. In my opinion guides like this are much better when people have the software in front of them. I was still planning on writing a few myself, but it looks like Stevie may relieve me of having to do some of it.

The forumtest subdomain is being turned off within the next hour or so. Thanks for the input, guys.
